SYNOPSIS
Saawariya is a musical based on the short story 'White Nights' written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It is the story of a shy dreamer Raj and his lover Sakina, a mysterious young woman whom he spots standing on a bridge. Destiny plans a magical tale for Raj over the next four nights of his life that shall change his entire being.
QUEER NOTES
The film received immense notice for a song in which the hero is clad only in a flimsy see-through bathtowel and almost drops it. The song is so homoerotic, it's no wonder Ranbir Kapoor (who plays Raj) is already reported to be a gay icon! 18
